Timon Botez
Mr Botez alias the Co-Designer is a multi disciplinary personality of no fixed focus. Mr Botez owns a magical pair of glasses. When he puts them on he sees what no other see. And what he sees he uses to help making everyday a little bit more unusual. Can you imagine, people pay him to do just that! Not a bad life.

Ornament, a passing trend?
September 2006
It saddens me that we are denied ornamentation and colour, especially in the world of products and architecture. There is an excess of “rational” products and buildings, beautiful but with no emotional connection. As designers we are in a position to create objects that can offer a more sensory experience.

The Divisions new office
6 Maltings Place, 169 Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 3JB
After sometime looking for the right place we have finally found a new studio. Located just off Bermondsey Street, which has been described as one of London’s trendiest areas, it is walking distance to Butlers wharf, the Design Museum, Tower Bridge and the New Tate Modern. The office is in the old Sarsons vinegar factory and has retained much of its original personality. We move in during May and look forward to seeing you there soon. For information about this area please see:

Tokyo, Omotesando Hills – Bland Brand?
March 2006
The much publicised (in Japan) Omotesando Hills shopping development is now complete. Designed by Japans most well known architect Tadao Ando and located in Tokyo’s Oxford street equivalent - Omotesando Dori. Many people who live or spend time in Tokyo and know the old Omotesando Dori will be sad to see this new development. The past 4 or 5 years have seen Omotesando gradually turn into a place with less and less of its own character and become more like an airport terminal with every conceivable high-end brand you can imagine.
