Buffalo are a Japanese computer peripheral maker. They asked us to create a new portable hard drive concept improving the previous version and solving the problem of cable management. We developed a unique concept integrating a rubber usb cable that wraps round the edge of the product and also creates a comfortable grip.
This concept won Japan’s Good Design award in 2009 and Buffalo invited us to help them further develop their Design Identity – including the development of product, product packaging and website.
