  • Take On Japan – Homepage

    As a response to the growing interest in Japan from overseas companies, ‘Take On Japan’ is an English language platform

  • Makino – Kitchen Tools

    A favourite with professional cooks everywhere, these scales were designed to be easy to use, clean and store. Each time an ingredient is added the scale is reset to zero, using just one bowl when adding ingredients.

  • Zojirushi – Brand

    Zojirushi are based in Osaka, Japan. They founded in 1918 and are a household name in Japan, famous for high quality rice cookers

  • Shark – Hairdryer for Japan

    In launching a new category of product – haircare – Shark asked us, experts on Japan, to help them understand the kind of functionality and CMF required to enter both the Japanese and European markets.

  • Denso – In car Security App

    Omnivision is an in-car security App that connects the driver to Denso’s proprietary in-car IOT core technology

  • Brother – Embroidery Research

    We recruited, co-ordinated and led interviews with individual makers, colleges and bespoke embroidery studios in London.

  • Shark – Navigate Japan

    Japan is the 3rd richest economy in the world. Like many companies Shark Ninja see a huge opportunity to increase brand recognition and revenue in this market.

  • Shiseido – Digital Scent

    We worked with Shiseido in Paris and Tokyo to develop a NFC operated fragrance concept.

  • TOTO – Design Advisers

    Most well known outside of Japan for their technologically advanced toilets, TOTO

  • Zojirushi – Exhibit Stand

    We used traditional Japanese architectural elements such as floating ‘Noren’ to showcase Japanese culture and differentiate the Zojirushi brand. We also created product literature for the launch.

  • Brother – Typography 101

    Our 2-3 day work session introduces attendees to the fundamentals of fonts and grids and their use in print and digital applications.

  • Zojirushi – Table Flask

    Zojirushi are one of Japans most well known brands. We’ve been working with them since 2014 on the design of vacuum flasks for global markets.

  • Nissan – Imagining the future

    Nissan recognise the many challenges facing auto brands, including eco-issues and the switch to alternative energy sources and the lack of desire for car ownership

  • Denso – Future Mobility

    Denso are trying to utilise their Automotive knowledge in the future transport landscape
